Privacy Policy

MixMix Rewards is operated by MixMix.

We collect only what the offer flow needs to work:

• Your mobile phone number, which you enter yourself so we can text you the survey link and your offer code.
• Your SMS consent — whether you agreed to the one-time survey and offer texts, and separately whether you opted in to marketing messages, along with the date and time you did so.
• Your survey answers, such as ratings and comments about your visit.
• Offer records, including the code we issued you and whether it has been redeemed at the register.
• Basic technical data that any website receives, such as IP address and browser type, used to prevent abuse and rate-limit repeated requests.

We do not ask for your name, email address, date of birth, or payment details, and we never receive your card number when you redeem an offer.

• To text you the survey link you requested and the offer code you earned.
• To make sure an offer is used once and by the person it was issued to.
• To understand customer feedback in aggregate so we can improve our business.
• To send marketing messages, but only if you separately checked the optional box asking for them.
• To prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet our legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

There are two separate kinds of messages, and you control each one. Entering your number and submitting the form opts you in to a one-time text with your survey link and a follow-up text with your offer code. Marketing messages are a separate, optional choice you make with an unchecked box, and you can use MixMix Rewards without ever agreeing to them.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as our SMS provider, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us, and get help by replying HELP. Full messaging terms are in our Terms and Conditions.

We share information only with vendors who run parts of this service for us, and only so they can perform that work. They are bound by contract to protect it and may not use it for their own purposes:

• Our SMS provider delivers the text messages you asked for. It receives your phone number for that purpose alone.
• Our cloud hosting provider stores the application and its database.
• Our point-of-sale provider validates your offer code when you redeem it at the register.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property. If our business is ever sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction, and this policy will continue to apply until you are told otherwise.

We keep survey answers and offer records for as long as we need them for business and tax purposes, and typically no longer than two years. If you opt out of messages we keep a record of your number on a suppression list so we can honor that choice, since deleting it entirely would let a later sign-up start texting you again.

• Stop messages by replying STOP to any text.
• Access or delete your information by emailing our support address. We will respond within 30 days.
• Opt out of marketing only while still receiving the offer code you earned, by asking us at the address above.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information, such as the right to know what we hold or to ask us to correct it. We honor these requests regardless of your location, and we will not treat you differently for making one.

Information is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on access-controlled infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect specifically so there is little to lose: we hold a phone number and some opinions about a meal.

MixMix Rewards is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. You must be at least 18, or have permission from the account holder, to sign up for text messages. If you believe a child has given us their number, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above and post the new version at this address. Material changes to how we use your phone number will be described in the notice so you can decide whether to keep receiving messages.

MixMix
